Dr Layth Al- Shear

Layth is a highly skilled dental professional. who is dual qualified and registered as both a general dentist and a dental hygienist. After obtaining a Bachelors of Dental Surgery and an Advanced Diploma in Oral Health, he has been commited to continued development in Dentistry with primary focus on Gum and TMJ health.

Gum disease is the most common cause of adult tooth loss, and about 50% of adults have some form of Gum Disease.

 

Layth has dedicated the last 10 years of his dental practice solely towards the prevention and management of gum disease(periodontitis). He is using the latest technologies in gum treatment including AirFlow and Dental laser, he is able to help his patients understand their gum health and achieve their treatment and maintenance goals.

 

Layth is also helping patients suffering from Bruxism, TMJ problems and sleep apnoea.

Since 2014, he has been serving our community on the South Coast. He is available in Nowra once a week.
