Dr Nick Coughtrey

Dr Nick was born and raised in Sydney. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Sydney in 2012. Following graduation, he practised in Sydney and Batemans Bay, gaining experience across a wide range of clinical procedures and treating patients of all ages using the latest dental materials and technology. 

Dr Nick relocated to Nowra with his partner to join the team at South Coast Dentists. They have since welcomed two daughters and enjoy raising their family on the South Coast. They love the region’s beautiful scenery, friendly community, and being close to family. 

Dr Nick finds dentistry to be an extremely rewarding career. “I particularly enjoy working with patients to directly address their concerns about their teeth. These concerns may relate to the appearance of their teeth, the function of their teeth, or even a painful toothache. At South Coast Dentists, we are equipped with the latest advances in dental technology and materials to help address your concerns.” 

Dr Nick regularly attends professional development courses to further expand his dental knowledge and the range of treatment techniques he can provide. 

Outside of dentistry Dr Nick enjoys sports, the outdoors and travel – particularly enjoying exploring new places with his family.
